Yesterday my friends and I changed our main communication from IM and SMS to an email-mailing list!! So we're not following the mainstream which had a mailinglist first and then changed to something like Instant Messaging ;)
I'm wondering everyday more what people did when there was nothing like the internet or SMS... You might answer the phoned each other but since it's far more work I guess they didn't phone everybody everytime which might have destroyed some relations...
But on the otherside our society produces way too much stress these days! People don't wait a day for your answer because you HAVE TO answer immediately! Plus you have to be reachable everytime everywhere which is really annoying when you got a job... Let's see where the path of civilisation will take us!

today I woke up at a lecture because of an unfamiliar loud sound...
It was a fire alarm! But as often it was only false alarm!
But the interesting part begun when the firemen wanted to leave.
One of the big fire engines knocked down a stone pylon in front of the physics building!
The car body was completely bend on one side and it took them around 20 mins. to remove the pylon!
They had to lock the whole area of course because we had nothing else to do then joking what else they might destroy...
And telling stories about former vehicles hitting the pylon...
What a pity I had forgotten my digicam...
although it's a low budget movie they made a real thrilling horror movie! And it makes it even more scary when knowing that it's based on true events.
A little sum up: A couple is on holidays and wants to dive. So they go on a boat with around 20 other people, go on the ocean and start to dive. While summering how many are back, one of the boatsmen made a mistake because he counts someone twice ( because of special circumstances ). So the boat left and our couple is all alone! ok, not ALL ALONE of course! Some Jellyfishes and sharks are still there... waiting for them!

Man braucht vielleicht ein bisschen um sich an den Humor zu gewöhnen, aber dann sind viele Anrufe ziemlich gut :D
My friend Ariane has been to an American base and so entered usa national ground! There are american stores, a cinema, quite many people and even a Burger King!! And the best is that products don't cost more then in america! So she brought me some cookies which I'm now eating :) Unfortunately only relatives are allowed to buy things at the base so if you don't know anybody, you won't be able to go yourself there to buy something just like me :(
