Anyway, I also installed the new version of Serendipity... Just to remind other people that 0.7 is out =)
Yesterday and today I visited a fair at the university where companies introduced them-selves! I had a nice conversation with Diehl which was in the news the days before because some people thought that such company shouldn't be invited to a university ground because 1/3 of them is part of the defence industry... Anyway they are searching for physicist in there non-arms-industry parts! Most of the stuff inside a Bosch dish-washer might be from Diehl. And most of the wires insides a Pentium IV is also from Diehl... But after all the first day wasn't so good as you can see at the first pictures in the body!

An American law firm McKoolSmith just bought several patents on computer stuff which would include the principals of RAM, online games and 3D-Games at all! At the moment they are suing 19 computer companies like Acer, Dell, IBM etc.! Just imagine what happens, if they win! "It's the end of the world as we know it" are singing people all around the world reported the channel R E M. ;)

Was gibt es momentan nicht alles für Seiten, die über den Zerfall der deutschen Sprache zum Ausdruck bringen? Zuletzt bin ich auf deppenleerzeichen gestoßen. Dort geht es um die zunehmenden Trennung von Substantiven ohne Bindestrich. Eingeführt wurden diese der Seite nach, von Marketing Experten, welche einen Spruch aus Amerika falsch übersetzten. Anstelle das Produkt von anderen Produkten abzusetzen, setzten sie einfach den Produktnamen vom restlichen Teil des Wortkonstruktes ab. So entstehen interessante Sachen wie: Opel Partner ( Opel Astra und Opel Vectra kenne ich, aber den Partner muss mir noch jemand zeigen... ), Voll Milch, Western Klassiker oder es werden Mädchen für 3,99 zum Verkauf angeboten, während Jungs ausdrücklich vor dem Schild ausrutschen sollen!

Yesterday my friends and I changed our main communication from IM and SMS to an email-mailing list!! So we're not following the mainstream which had a mailinglist first and then changed to something like Instant Messaging ;)
I'm wondering everyday more what people did when there was nothing like the internet or SMS... You might answer the phoned each other but since it's far more work I guess they didn't phone everybody everytime which might have destroyed some relations...
But on the otherside our society produces way too much stress these days! People don't wait a day for your answer because you HAVE TO answer immediately! Plus you have to be reachable everytime everywhere which is really annoying when you got a job... Let's see where the path of civilisation will take us!
